Pub in Clifden we stopped in for a drink and use of their facilities. Nice bartender there who talked our ear off...and old men speaking Irish in the front of the bar.

In Connemara, this was a house built in the 18th Century as a husband's gift to his wife. During World War I it becamse an Abbey and is now a girls' boarding school.

Old distillery in Kilbeggan where they used to make Locke's whiskey. Thanks to US prohibition and bootleggers making a horrible version of this whiskey, they went out of business, but the distillery remians. (and they still produce barrels for another company)
