I just saw this picture in the random generator on our gallery page....it made me chuckle remembering that day.
Happy Late St. Patty's Day. Muiread celebrated hers in style sporting this lovely outfit from my parents. She looks pretty good in green. Our night was actually pretty calm. We went to ECFE class while Brandon went drinking with BC.
Now for updates: We don't really have any stats to share, as we haven't been to the doctor since last month. I'm sure we'll have lots to share in April after her 6-month appointment; I hear it's a big one. I don’t even really know how much she weighs, but if I think about it tomorrow I’ll try to figure that one out.
There really haven’t been too many grand new developments lately. She’s still on mom’s milk only. Solids should come in April. We have cut out the middle of the night feeding. That doesn’t mean she’s sleeping through the night, we just generally can calm her down enough to get her back to sleep. We do find her on her tummy sometimes when sleeping, so maybe the hair on her head will start growing back. Our peanut is officially out of all 0-3 month clothing except for some jackets and sleep gowns. She does love to be upright now, or sitting up with us. This is why we got the new toy (discussed below). She also is very proficient at putting everything in her mouth, but no teeth yet.
So overall, we’re all well. We’ll try to post some none baby related stuff soon, but we really don’t get out much. (maybe Brandon will post again someday too)
PS. There are new pictures in the Gallery
...or are we just getting old? Perhaps it's one of the downfalls of becoming a parent.
Here's the deal: As the weather gets warmer and the nights are lighter, this is the thought I had yesterday. "I can't wait until its 50 degrees on a weekend I'm home." Why you might ask? I can't wait to clean the garage. I mean a total overhaul. Pull everything out, clean the floor, straighten everything up, and make it all purty again. And I'm totally stoked about this.
So, is life getting boring, or are we just getting old?
Brandon really is the one who chose this one, even though it looks like some sort of torture device. He liked the "bounce action" and the ability to hook on many of the toys we already have.
She's a little too small for it right now. We have to put a folded blanket under it so her feet reach the ground, but I will say this, she was crying pretty bad as I put her in the first time....then noticed the change of scenery and like magic the crying stopped....and the toys went in her mouth.
Thank you all for the advice on this type of item.
