So sorry for the week (or so) of no web page. I wasn't sure what the problem was until I finally checked my junk e-mail account. Apparently the web host doesn't like it when your credit card expires. Who Knew !?!?

I've been breaking a lot of things recently. On Christmas morning, while cleaning up breakfast, I broke the faucet and water went literally all over the entire kitchen. It was actually quite comical. We bought a new one and Brandon installed it today.

I just like this picture because it just looks like a standard guy picture. It made me giggle so I thought I would share.

How did this happen? How is Muiread already 2 months old? We’re not really sure, but she’s still alive, growing, and actually starting to be awake and not crying at times.

So Muiread had her 2-month appointment yesterday. Stats: 21.5 inches, head 15 cm, weight 9 lbs, 14oz. (just under the 50th percentile on everything). So she’s growing fine and developing at a normal rate.

What we’ve been up to: We’re still taking her out with us as much as possible. She has helped at a food program (volunteering with Brandon’s work) and even wore a hairnet. She has “participated” in Govie Christmas Caroling (either being held, or I did manage to play with her on). She’s starting to like the bouncy seat better (we just have to bounce it for her). These are just the little things.

Big things: We have daycare set up. Paid the deposit and everything. I go back to work on the 8th, she’ll start daycare on the 7th. We opted for an in home daycare and hope it works out just fine. It at least is a big load off.

Big thing two: Muiread slept 3 hours on her own in her Pack ‘N Play. The significance of this is tremendous. The plus is, that also means that Brandon and I got to be near each other for the first time in 2 months. (don’t worry, we don’t want Irish twins). I’m sure it isn’t a trend yet, but it at least is a step in the right direction of getting her in her own room.

That’s pretty much it for now. Oh there are some new pictures up as well in the month 2 album. Chilllin’ is the first new picture. Enjoy!

Some of you may have noticed already, but there are new-ish pictures of Muiread up. They are in the month two folder and if all goes well today, I may get some more up as well. (no promises) There are also pictures of the Govie Shower up as well. They're in their own folder because there were just a tone of pictures between Jacqueline and Brandon snapping photos non-stop.

So since the last time I posted, we haven’t been up to much. She’s getting much better at holding her head up for longer periods of time. We think she is smiling sometimes, but overall she generally just has a very inquisitive look on her face. Leave to my child to analyze (or over analyze) everything. I also think she kicks at things, but Brandon is not convinced yet.

The picture in this post is from Muiread’s first snow….but that was in November and about all we got. Now Brandon has shoveled the driveway about 4 times this week. I want to plop her down in it to take a picture, but I just haven’t been that mean yet. Maybe this weekend after we get some more!!
