Registering
So people keep asking us "Are you registered anywhere yet?" Well we're working on it. Last night we finally went to Target, and did a little. We'll probably add more, but we just don't really know what you're supposed to register for. We look at things and go "why would you need that" or "we won't need that for a while." It was actually much much easier to do the wedding registry (eons ago).
However, at least step one has happened. Step two will be Babys-R-Us. We'll keep you posted.

We might be able to help you out. Colleen has a whole spreadsheet of stuff we bought and stuff we registered for,etc. We also found the book "Baby Bargains" EXTREMEMLY helpful--lots of good info on what is needed, what you can do without and which brand is the best deal. It really helped us get over that feeling of shock while standing in front of thousands of stroller (and crib and bottle,etc) options at the store. We found it at Barnes and Noble.
