Ahh...The Name Is Bootsy, Baby!
A name has been decided. . . for now.
So, as you may have heard, we are expecting a young one in late October. The pictures from the last post were from the 20th week. No, we did not learn the gender, nor do we intend to.
Yesterday Jenniffer was telling me about a conversation she had where it was asked what we refer to it as. Not knowing the gender, “he” and “she” are out, so unfortunately “it” is usually the choice. No longer is this the case.
Last night when doing some late-night grocery, I came to the decision that from here out, we shall refer to our developing sexless fetus as BOOTSY! Let the world sing. . .
As I type: listening to a mix of “happy” music on my ipod (Blowoff is playing at the moment. . . yay!)

Love it! I had someone call Taly "It" this morning, and was a little disturbed. Especially since she was head to toe in pink.

Congrats Brandon and Jenniffer!!! Sal and I are excited for you! You will be the coolest, most fun parents ever (except for Sal and I, of course). I hope you'll be coming to St. Louis again soon with her/him/Bootsy. Love ya!

Congratulations!! I'm proud of you for deciding to not find out the sex of the baby until birth day...we thought about it until they told us there were two in there. That was the only surprise we needed for one pregnancy! Bootsy is a great name...ours were Chitty Chitty Chang and Bang Bang Chang (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang we love you!) until they arrived. Baby Bootsy is so lucky to have you two for parents! We're so excited for you!!! jc

Congratulations to you both! Parents who name their child Bootsy are destined for greatness. Does the little one have star sunglasses in his/her future? Maybe some newborn-sized platforms and a pimp hat?
We chose not to find out the gender of our little one. We were so convinced we were having a girl that we didn't choose a boy's name until 9:00 on the morning that Katie was induced, which is good because otherwise we would have a boy named Ellie (I don't see Johnny Cash singing about that one).

Your cat already has the name Guiness. ;)

We didn't found out early either. Ours was referred to as Baby Fish-Mouth, a la "When Harry Met Sally." Seneca Wallace was another, and much less popular, nickname that was received at a tailgate (long story).
And Sara, many people call Lindsey a "he" even when she's in pink. I think it's the late arrival of hair, even though it's really coming in now.
