Ska for Moms

pink-ribbon.jpg
Can someone please tell me when Mother's Day became the official Breast Cancer Awareness holiday? Do only moms get breast cancer? Do only moms' breasts matter? I'm just confused on when this happened. It just seems like it's almost over shadowing Mother's Day at this point. I know it's silly to have a mini-rant about this, but over the past week there were pink ribbons everywhere on TV, in the Paper, and at the mall. Even the Onion's most recent issue had a pink banner across the top in their "For Women" issue. I'm not sayin'.... I'm just sayin'

On a side note - apparently your "Suck It" e-mails have not worked. Brandon hates you all.

I know what you mean. National Breast Cancer Awareness month is in October, but for some reason it's going strong right now. May is Pampered Chef's Help Whip Cancer month, and I've noticed pink ribbon products at Scheel's and Lowe's. I'm sure there's some reason I'm not aware of at the moment.
